My sincere condolences to the man's family and friends. I hope they can find some comfort at this tragic time.
It would help to learn more about this accident if possible to try to reduce the odds of repetition. Things like the type and size of kite, distance from shore when the lofting occurred, average wind speed and direction prior to the lofting, confirmation of the height and horizontal distance of the lofting and observations of what happened in the course of the accident would be helpful too.
I apologize for all the questions and in English. Still, the fall/winter stormy season is underway. Our losses are often high in November as a result. This information may help others avoid similar harsh sessions. Please feel free to email to
flkitesurfer@hotmail.com if that would be more convenient.
Take care,
