We from Slingshot South Africa were there yesterday at Red Bull Kind of the Air (Cape Town). It was a massive event in epic conditions 30-40 kn of wind and big, clean waves for kickers. 5000 spectators and many reporters/camera teams from all corners of the world. Sam performed extremely well and beat Youri in the final heat. Very clearly. Ruben went out early. We have shot a short video sequence comparing Sam and Youri with kiteloops directly after each other, launched from the same kicker. - amazing how much better Sam went!.
